Louisville Pride Foundation

Louisville Pride Foundation - Web Design - Joanna Davis Designs

Brief

The Louisville Pride Foundation is a non-profit organization that started as a local pride festival. In the 5 years, the Pride Festival has taken place, it has grown tremendously. The website they started with was almost barren. It had no color, no structure, and nothing that could possibly lure the end-user in and convince them to stay awhile.

The new site was designed with a flavorful, lush, and inclusive celebration. The waves within the design signify the community with many colors that represent everyone and how each of us connects. The accent color used was orange. When anyone thinks of celebrating Pride with the LGBTQ community, it is a warm and happy experience. Orange is representative of that.

All the marketing collateral for the festival was tied together in its style and presentation – following the design of the new website creating consistency across the mediums, therefore, creating a stronger brand.
